Basey's Back!

     Thunder fans will be happy to hear that defenseman Alex Basey will be back at the Thunderdome this fall! The 6’1” 195-pound defensemen from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada has been working hard this off-season in preparation for the upcoming season.  Basey, known for his toughness and grit, notched 1 goal and 5 assists in just 21 games for the Thunder in their 2019-2020 campaign before suffering a lengthy injury. Alex was quoted, “I am ready to go, can’t wait to bring the noise back to the Thunderdome!”  C.E.O/President Charles F. Pens Sr. had high praise for the veteran defenseman. “Alex is both feared and respected in this league. He plays on the edge and keeps opponents honest on the ice. He works hard both on and off the ice to improve his game. We are known to have a very tough defense to play against, and Alex is certainly one of them.”  Basey and the Thunder return to the Thunderdome 7:30 PM Friday, November 5^th against the Binghamton Black Bears, tickets are on sale now!
