Delaware Bolsters Up Blue Line

by Mike Basile

The Thunder have added defensemen J.C Moritz to their already strong blue line. Moritz played three years at Neumann University and brings even more size to the Delaware defensive group. Moritz is excited to get the opportunity to play pro hockey in the USA. "I've known and been coached by Coach Pens since I was a teenager and I'm excited to get the chance to play for him at the professional level in the FPHL. After speaking with him and Coach Santini, I feel that this is going to be a great spot for me to play and continue to grow my game. I'm eagerly looking forward to this upcoming season and think it will be a good one." President/GM Charles F. Pens Sr. stated, " I have trained and coached J.C since age 12, he has overcome many obstacles early on to become an amazing young man, he has worked harder than most to become the player he is today. A standout D-man at the NCAA level and now pro, he will be a nice addition to our already solid D."
