Delaware Grows Stronger in Net

The Delaware Thunder have signed goaltender Anthony Pupplo. Pupplo joins the Delaware Thunder after a successful 4 years of NCAA Hockey. In 2016-2017, Pupplo put up impressive numbers at Neumann University, posting a 2.02 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage. During the 2018-2019 season, he played for New England College recording solid numbers once again. In 22 games, Pupplo had a 2.03 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage. Pupplo is eager to join Delaware this season, and stated, " I am excited and humbled to be able to advance my athletic career at the professional level. I would like to thank the coaches and the staff of the Delaware Thunder for their professionalism through the process and the opportunity to continue to play the game I love. " Coach Lou Santini said, "I have been looking at Anthony for a while now from my time in the NCAA, he is one of the top goaltenders in the conference. He is extremely mobile and has solid positioning. He has singlehandedly won games based on his athleticism and abilities. We are excited to have Anthony join the Thunder."
