Delaware Makes A Spark

by Mike Basile

The Delaware Thunder made a spark acquiring forward Anton Kalinin, and defenseman Egor Kostyukov from the Watertown Wolves. Both, Kalinin and Kostyukov played vital roles last season to help Watertown get to the playoffs. General Manger Charles Pens SR. stated, “we are looking to upgrade constantly. Anton brings instant scoring and Egor brings the grit to the back end, and is a strong skater.”  Kostyukov tallied 2 goals and 6 assists from the blue line in 41 games last season. Kalinin scored 13 goals and added 20 helpers in his 45 games played. The pair looks to help Delaware in the scoring department, and to bolster up the defense.  Pens Sr finished with, “Look for more moves.” Delaware is back in action Friday, November 15th against Mentor for Military Appreciation Night at The Thunder Dome, 7:05 puck drop.
