Goal fest goes to The Prowlers

    A night where the goal light kept flashing ended in a Prowlers 8-5 win over the Thunder. The scoring started early and fast the first period saw 5 goals. The first two went to the Prowlers, Chris Leville started the scoring on a rip from the slot. Matt Stoia scored the second when he walked through the slot and scored under the pads of Aaron Taylor. Delaware would then fight back for the next three. Anton Kalinin scored the Thunder's first goal just 12 seconds after the Stoia goal. Brandon Contratto then tied things up on the back-hand. Ryan Marker gave Delaware the lead with a slap-shot that beat Paulin blocker side. It was 3-2 Thunder after 1. 

  Delaware kept the momentum into the early part of the second scoring the first of the period. It was Anton Kalinin again. The game would change after that. The next four goals went to the Prowlers. Dalton Jay potted two in the second, and Zack Zulkanycz and Justin Portillo each potted one. The Zulkanycz goal was a short-handed goal the other three were at even strength. After two it was 6-4 Port Huron.

    The third started with a quick Prowlers goal just 37 seconds in. Matt Graham scored on a puck that snuck through the legs of Aaron Taylor. Thomas Munichiello would cut the lead back to two later in the third. Jay would score his third of the game down a man to put the game on ice. The final from Port Huron was 8-5.
