Preview

The Battle Creek Rumble Bees are coming off a weekday loss to the Port Huron Prowlers. Battle Creek struck first, but three unanswered goals from Port Huron won them the game. Battle Creek has struggled this season but has been playing much better hockey of late. Goaltender Joel Eisenhower has been a huge part of that. Special teams have plagued the Rumble Bees this season, their powerplay is at 10 percent, and the penalty kill is 64 percent. The Bees will need to win the special teams battle if they want to come away with a couple wins this weekend.

Delaware is coming off a weekend where they felt like they could have had at least a couple of wins. Friday night in Watertown they were up 2-0 in the first period, and Sunday they took a tough Elmira team to overtime. The Delaware Thunder will have Darius Davidson in their lineup this weekend. Davidson will help a forward group that is starting to click more and more. Saturday night will be the marquee matchup, It will be cancer awareness night at the Thunderdome.
