Pelligra heading to Delaware

by Mike Basile

The Delaware Thunder had the first pick in the Battle Creek Rumble Bees dispersal draft and knew exactly who they were taking. The Delaware Thunder drafted Nathan Pelligra who is a fast, skilled forward. Pelligra tallied 6 points in 5 games with Battle Creek and spent some time in the SPHL with the Peoria Rivermen. Pelligra was happy to hear about joining the Thunder and said, "I would like to thank Adam Stio and the Batlle Creek organization and staff for allowing me to continue my hockey career. With that being said I am excited to get going with the Thunder this upcoming season. Thank you to the Thunder organization for picking me in the dispersal draft." President/GM Charles F. Pens SR. was ecstatic to add Pelligra. "Nathan brings skill and speed to Delaware. He also adds scoring an area where the Thunder struggled with last season. Look for Nathan to bury the puck next season."
