Rabbit Season

by Mike Basile

The Delaware Thunder head to Danbury one last time looking for 6 points. These two teams met last weekend in Delaware, ending with the Hat Tricks coming away with two tight wins. The difference last weekend was the third periods. The Hat Tricks won both third periods, and that was the difference. The Thunder will look to turn the tide this weekend and take down The Eastern leading Hat Tricks.

Preview

The Delaware Thunder have matched up well with the Hat Tricks all season, but have only been able to come away with one win against them so far. Thomas Munichiello and Marc Simonetta have stepped up big time for the Thunder. Munichiello scored four goals last weekend, and Simonetta scored his first in the FHL. Delaware will need more from the second and third lines this weekend if they want to take down the Hat Tricks. Aaron Taylor continues to impress in net for the Thunder.

Danbury is winners of 5 straight, and have scored 6 or more goals in 4 of the 5 games. Shayne Morrissey has been a huge addition to an already dangerous Hat Tricks offense. The Hat Tricks have a ton of size upfront and always seem to get to the front of the net. Danbury also now has their very dangerous goaltending duo back with Dillon Kelley and Thomas McGuckin. These two teams will meet at Danbury Ice Arena this weekend! Friday night the action starts at 7:00 PM. Listen Live on DelawareThunder.com.
