Thunderdome is Sold Out!

The Delaware Thunder Professional Hockey Team will begin its historic, inaugural season at home before a sold-out crowd on Friday, October 25, 2019. According to President and General Manager Charles F. Pens, Sr., "The team is solidifying as a unit and we are excited to bring our brand of hard nose, hard hitting hockey to the Diamond State.  We think our sold-out arena will be a very uncomfortable place for visiting teams. "  He went on to say, "There is no better way to begin this season than before a sold-out crowd. They said it couldn't be done, but I think they underestimated our team and, frankly, the region. The team has been embraced by the community and we are going to see that translate into an exciting season of professional hockey here in the First State."  The Thunder hosts the Columbus River Dragons at home next weekend for back-to-back games. The team will then face League Champions, the Carolina Thunderbirds, for a two-game series at home, November 1st and 2nd, before heading north to Elmira, NY to face division rivals, the Elmira Enforcers.  Friday night's home opener game is sold out, but tickets for Saturday's game are still available at www.delawarethunder.com/tickets.
