Thunder Get Stronger In Crease

by Mike Basile

The Delaware Thunder have signed goaltender Mike Cosentino out of Neuman University. The 25-year-old goaltender has some professional experience as well. He played in the SPHL with the Macon Mayhem and in the FPHL with the Watertown Wolves. In 2018-2019 Cosentino put up some impressive numbers at Neuman, a .923 save percentage and 2.63 goals against average. Coach Lou Santini stated, “Mike is a strong, athletic goalie who holds his crease well.  We are looking forward to having him aboard.” Cosentino is ready to get the season going, he said, “ I am extremely excited to play for the Delaware Thunder. Being able to play professional hockey close to home, and for an organization that has a fan base like the thunder is an incredible opportunity.
