Delaware heads into a weekend series with Elmira looking to feed off their 3-2 win Saturday Night in Mentor. Elmira is also looking to feed off a win after they beat Danbury 8-3 Saturday night. Just two weeks ago in Elmira, The Enforcers swept the weekend series against Delaware at home.  Elmira won game one 5-4 and game two 7-3. Delaware will be looking for revenge this weekend at the Thunderdome. Puck drop will be 7:05 Friday and Saturday at The Thunderdome!

Defensemen- Dan DiCristofaro: 2-0-2

Elmira

Forward- Ahmed Mahfouz: 5-10-15

Defensemen- Glen Patterson 0-6-6

Preview:

The Thunder face a tough task with trying to slow down an Elmira offense that is averaging close to 4 goals a game. On the other hand, The Enforcers will have to get past Aaron Taylor who is coming off a 51 save performance. The Thunder will look to limit the Enforcers shots on goal and contain leading point-getter Ahmed Mahfouz. Despite scoring close to 4 goals a game the Elmira power-play is at just 14% and they will look to improve on that this weekend.

New additions Anton Kalinin and Egor Kostyukov were vital in Delaware’s win over Mentor Saturday night. Forward Anton Kalinin assisted on the game-winning power-play goal and brings astonishing playmaking skills to the team. Kostyukov adds another big body to the back end and has great vision on the ice. Delaware seemed to be clicking Saturday night in Mentor, they look to bring the same energy to The Thunderdome this weekend.
