Preview:

The Thunder might have dropped a pair this weekend to Elmira, but there is a lot to look forward too if you are a Thunder Fan. The team looks like it is starting to come together on a lot of fronts. On a top-heavy scoring team, the Thunder are seeing some more contributors. Evgenii Demin has been great these past two weekends and now has 5 points on the season. Evan Mackintosh also scored his first goal this weekend against Elmira. The Power-play also has looked much better and it has shown. The power-play is now up to 22% for the Thunder and they look to stay hot into the weekend.

What positive can’t you say about the Wolves' start to the season? They are scoring on average over 4 goals per game, giving up 2, and killing penalties at an astounding 87 percent. It all starts in net for Watertown with goaltender Jeremey Pominville. His sub 2 goals against and near 95 percent save percentage has backboned his team to early success. They also have been getting contribution up and down the lineup. All systems are firing for the Wolves who look to keep rolling this weekend.
